About Us

Porter's Wisconsin Inspections was founded in 1993 by Warren Porter and has successfully served THOUSANDS of residential and commercial clients with superior Wisconsin home and building inspection services.

Warren was on the State of Wisconsin's Dept. of Regulation and Licensing committee to assist with the origination of the Standards of Practice exam when Wisconsin rules dictated registration of Home Inspectors in 1998. Warren served as Vice President of the Madison Chapter of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors at that time and later became education director for several terms.

Warren believe's in educating homeowners during an inspection so they become better acquainted with their home's systems. This is to protect their interests by knowing when repairs may be needed or even better by understanding preventive maintenance so repair needs are prevented.

Warren became licenced to do well and septic inspections in the mid 1990's and has completed over a thousand of them.

Even though we are no longer providing Home Inspections we sincerely hope that our service of Well and Septic Evaluations will provide the Peace of Mind that our Home Inspections provided
